Shri Saunsthan Gaudapadacharya Kavale Math is the adipitha of Gaud Saraswat Brahmin community. Shri Gaudapadacharya was the paramguru of Shri Adi Shankaracharya.

He wrote Gaudapada Karikas which are considered as the most important and basic work in Vedanta. It is the basis on which Adi Shankaracharya has systemized and elaborated his magnificent philosophy of Advaits.
